Roller axle

A quick learner from PA says:
Should an axle that fits in a roller be snug or loose?

Hello,

The answer to your question depends on the wheel. A ball bearing wheel can have a snug axle since the motion of the wheel is carried by the ball bearings. For a wheel that doesn't have ball bearings, the axle needs to be slightly loose to act as a bearing for the wheel movement. Hope this helps!
