Roller for Alenco Door

Question

I have a large glass sliding door that has a broken roller. 2 of us carefully removed the door and checked our the rollers. One must be replaced.

It has only one roller, not two.

The size is 1 1/4" wide by 2 1/4 long.

I don't think the length matters, and the width is standard at 1 1/4".

Due to the size and weight of the door, I am inclined to get the double roller.

Is that OK?

It is possible to use a double-wheel roller to replace single-wheel rollers in some circumstances but it depends on what your door is using now. We would need to see the original roller assembly fully removed from the door, including the exterior housing, to determine what might work for your repair. Thank you.
