Hi,
I have two different types of rollers (like the ones listed 84-050) with a spring for tension. Then then something like the Moss (84-095) without spring, with a longer body.
first, does the 84-050 have a spring? and do you have the one with out a spring...
Second, is it normal to have one with a spring coupled with one with out a spring?

The rollers listed are "spring loaded". I don't believe there is one that comes without a spring. The spring tension helps keep the patio screen on the track. We did carry a roller with a longer body that was discontinued but that roller also had a spring. Could it be that your spring rusted and broke off of the housing? If you could send us some photos of the roller removed from the door, we'd be happy to research this further. Thank you.
