Roylloson window balancers

A home owner from Chesapeake ohio says:

I have a window that measures 39 inches wide and 22 inches tall. And I think it weighs 39 pounds. The balancers are 24 inches long. It said on the balancer 2340 my other windows measure 31 inches wide and 22 inches tall. They use the same balancer. Would the big window use the same balancer as the others do. I need to replace 3 small window 2 balancers in each window. And the big window I need to put 2 in it. Would they all use the same balancer regardless of the weight Thank you for your help. Steven

Hello, Steven. Assuming the windows are exactly the same other than size, then it's reasonable to assume that they use the same balance. However, there's never any guarantee. You don't know if the installers had some crazy scheme in mind when they put up your windows. I always recommend checking instead of guessing. Better safe than sorry.
