S161-10 installation

Question

I have windows that are missing the 10 series roller tilt.Are there installation instructions available as to height that they need to fastened to the frame?

Hey there! I'm sorry to say that we do not have installation instructions for the s161 specifically.

The bracket that works with the s161 is the 16-031, and this traditionally anchors in the very top of the track. you should use the old bracket position

If there was no old bracket then that means the S161 would not be the correct replacement balance assembly for you. I'll need to see a photo of the original hardware, removed from the window, if that is the case.
