S380-30 with stamp 29 9

Quick Learner
I previously ordered S380-30 2940 Series for replacement.

The windows I am now replacing are the same size ,but the original numbers stamped on the side are 29 with a small gap then number 9.
Does this make any sense to you?

I also have a balance with an ink stamp on the top surface with ID of 29 9 GW CMC.

I also noticed the same balance being used on the large and smaller windows. II would have thought the smaller windows used a smaller /weaker spring?

Thanks
Don

In order to come to a solution, we will need more information. Please give us the weight of the sash.

Please remove the window sash and place it on a scale.
We need the weight of the window sash in pounds to determine the proper stamp option.

SWISCO Series 380-30 with...
stamp option 2910 will carry a window sash weight range of 7 through 12 pounds
stamp option 2920 will carry 12 through 16 pounds
stamp option 2930 will carry 16 through 23 pounds
stamp option 2940 will carry 23 through 28 pounds
stamp option 2950 will carry 28 through 32 pounds

This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.

I don't have a scale. I thought the exact dimensions and type (double pane) would indicate the weight they would be according to a listing or chart may have for reference.
If not, can you tell me What the STAMP on one Balance would correlate to:
29 9 GW CMC 11
