S380 or S385

Question

Hello, I've narrowed down the window balance replacement that I need to either the S380 or S385. The only issue I'm seeing with the balance I took out of my window is the bottom shoe appears to measure 1 1/16 so it's right between the two available options.

Do you recommend to go with the 1" or 1 3/32" shoes you all sell?

Hello! Go with the larger shoe, for the Series 385. 1-3/32" wears down to 1-1/16" sometimes, but 1" almost never stretches to that depth. If you run into any problems, just shave it down to a perfect 1-1/16". I don't predict you will need to do that.
