S385-13 Channel Balance, but 13-5/8" long

Question

Hi, it looks like a pair of S385-13 channel balance would work for me but I have one concern. The metal part of the old balances measures 13 5/8" instead of an even 13". Is that enough of a difference that the 13" balances wouldn't work?

That might make a difference, actually. Are you sure you have the Series 385 balance? There is a specific kind of custom balance that is designed in lengths that end on a 5/8". The tell tale clue is that the bottom shoe has the pulley wheel built right into it. If that's what you have, we'll need pictures of your balance. Specifically, we'll need to see the top and bottom ends, the stamp, and the metal clip at the end of the cord. Finally, how many did you need?
