S850 balance replacement

Question

I need 2ea of a 28 1/2 inch and a 32 1/2 inch S850 series balances. Y'all don't show that size. It has the black 1 1/4 inch shoe. What do I need?

I'm afraid the 28.5" long Series 850 balance is no longer available. Manufacturers have been phasing this style out for years now, and our stock is finally drying up. Fortunately we have a great substitute.

See our S795-28. I am confident this will work as a replacement. However, you will need to weigh your sash to confirm the best spring strength option. You will also need a new pivot bar; I recommend our 26-021. Finally, it looks like yours installed to the window frame at the top using a white plastic hook. Our S795-28 uses a screw tab, so you'll also need a 26-200 screw plug. This pops right in the hole where the old hook went and lets you screw the new style balance in place.
