SASH BALANCE

Question

Hello, We are looking for replacements for our sash balances. they are 27" total length with ends attached they have markings on them. one says 2530 the other says 2540. can you let me know which part number to order for the complete set of balances. Thank you

Good morning, and thanks for posting. Looks like your top attachment is winged, while your bottom is not. Since this doesn't match any of our standard Series, your balance will have to be specially made.

Before I can work on that, though, we need to clear a few things up. First, you say one balance is stamped 2530 and the other is stamped 2540. Are these balances both in the same window? If so, then they should both have the same stamp. I will need you to weigh your window sash on a scale and tell me what you get so that we can determine the correct stamp option.

Next, we need to figure out what that bottom shoe is. Check out our 15-001 and 15-002 and tell me which is a closer match.
