It looks like you just need a new thumb lever. If so, see our 82-107. I think this may be just what you were looking for.

Thanks, part is in and was what I needed.

I recently purchased your 82-107 latch lever kit. As a replacement latch. But the 82-107 lever pin is to long. Maybe as much as a 1/4 if an inch. It appears that my old set up used a two piece level set.

My sliding patio setup looks like your 82-034 set. Is this set 82-034 still available to purchase?

How hard is it to shorten your 82-107 level pin. What tool should be used?

The 82-034 is no longer made, but it was replaced by the more modern 82-087 Legacy keyed handle set. This is identical to the 82-034 in every way and used the same length thumb lever, which is our 82-107.

I'm surprised to hear that it was too long. This is a set size that is fairly universal for this kind of door. I would triple check to make sure that it's not the key tail that's not too long.

If you are confident that the 82-107 is too long, then you will need to use a hacksaw and table vice to shorten it to the size you need. Just make sure to measure thrice and cut once.
