HI. I have a sliding glass door issue. My sliding door has become increasingly hard to slide open or close and now I can't even lock it. I cleaned it with a toothbrush and sprayed some silicone on the track but the problem appears to be the vinyl material that the track is fastened to. It could also be worn rollers but I haven't been able to remove the door without some extra muscle. The flat vinyl piece that the metal track is affixed to measures about 1 5/8?" wide. It appears to be a "T." Is this one piece? it appears to have split and I need to replace it. Thanks.

Thanks for posting. I can't really determine if the vinyl to which the track attaches is broken, but I don't think that would make the door harder to open and close. Odds are, the issue is with your rollers. They may just need to be cleaned but keep in mind there's a chance they'll have to be replaced.

We have a video on how you can remove them. You may want to snap a couple clear pictures of them while they're out in case cleaning doesn't work; we'll need to see them clearly in order to determine what you need.
