SPDHWI31. 563X29.125 Window Parts

Question

The lower "clip" is broken and 1 guide pin is broken on a sears window. Can you see if  you can help me out? Thanks, patrick The guid clip pictured is not broken but bent. And the window is impact resistant.

Hi there! Looks like your pivot shoe and pivot bar need replacing. These are Simonton window parts, which unfortunately aren't made anymore. The good news is that you can use our 15-192 pivot shoe and 26-336 pivot bar. There's just one issue: the 26-336 pivot bar won't fit in the 15-192's center metal cam. You'll have to reuse the metal cam from your old shoe, which has a groove in the middle of it to accommodate that "collar" you see wrapped around the tip of the 26-336.

If the metal cam from your old shoe cannot be reused, then you'll have to grind down the "collar" on our 26-336. This will allow it to fit in the 15-192 normally.
