SPRING STOPS?

A quick learner from oklahoma city says:
I ordered new springs from you guys and was installing them in one of my windows and couldn't get the side balance springs to catch with the window. So, I pulled the window back out and noticed the pieces on the top/sides of the window (that I believe are supposed to catch the side springs) were broken on both sides (left and right). Those pieces are right at 5/8" wide. I have no idea what they would be called?

Hello,

We can't guarantee a replacement since the top sash guide in your picture is pretty badly damaged but take a look at our 18-032 top sash guide and compare it to an undamaged top sash guide. Thank you!
