Our 82-107 can replace the old thumb lever, but I'm afraid it only comes in a white finish. if you wanted to keep the finish consistent, you'd need to replace the handle set outright--see either our 82-089 or 82-090. Note however, that you might want to check the mortise lock in the door if you haven't already. If it's broken, that could be the true culprit of the thumb lever not working. You can test this by removing the handle set and attempting to 'throw' the lock manually with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, then the mortise lock is the cause of your problems.
