Sash BalancePart

A home owner from Hightstown, NJ says:
Ive posted several photos of my sash balance that I need to replace. It appears the plastic tip or the terminal housing broke off the balance. The balance is 28" long and has no markings. There are couple markings on the terminal housing that appears to be a patent number:

PAT #'s 6.679.000
4.610.108
D467.490

Hello there. It looks like you have the S795-28, with either the 15-195 1-1/4" wide shoe or the 15-194 1" shoe; you'll need to remove the shoe from the window and compare to see which matches. You'll need to obtain the exact weight of the window sash to know what stamp option the new balances should use. Finally, there's one discrepancy: your balance attaches to the top of the window jamb with a hook, while our stock version of these balances use a screw clip instead. Can you show me the hole in the wall that this hook attaches to? Its shape will indicate what you should do. Thanks.
