It does look like Your part is stamped with Andersen. The 9 27 stamp would generally correspond to the 24-939 sash balance. Take a look and let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!

Don't believe the 24-939 sash balance will fit as the dimensions are different and it doesn't have the screw lip.

We have come across these Andersen balances with and without the tab in the past. Are there specific dimensions you're concerned about? There are no dimensions listed on the 24-939 product page, so I'm not sure how you determined that there is a size discrepancy.
