Sash Cam for window

A home owner from Fresno, CA says:
I am trying to identify a part in my window. The Sash balance is not staying within the window as it is lifted. It is staying up on top of the window. The window falls down and will stay up. The Sash balance looks in good shape, but on the actual window itself, I believe that the cap is the problem. Not sure what that part is and what to order.
Sash balance Number: 3220.

Bob from SWISCO responded:

See the 18-171 top sash guide, which matches your dimensions, except that our part is missing the flat "cap" on top. We don't believe this small difference is important, as long as you are sure that the part is the same size.
