Sash Controls Inc, Part No: 060-1255

Quick Learner from California
Hello:

What are you recommending as a replacement for this part number?

Note: I confirmed, and the 060-1255 has 3 15/16" spacing between the screws.

Many Thanks,
- Gil

Hello, Gil. Start by looking at our 82-035 and 82-218. Is this what you need? If not, take some pictures of your hardware and we will do our best to find a better match.

Thanks Paul:

The mortise lock 82-218 appears to require a lower hole drilled into the door to get the latch to attach.

I'm looking for a "drop in" replacement for model number 060-1255.

Do you have such a replacement model?

That's the number I looked up before, which seems to be related to our 82-035 and 82-218. However, that doesn't mean they will work for you. Honestly, stamp numbers aren't the best method of finding replacement hardware. If these parts won't replace what you have, we will need to see pictures of your current handle set and mortise lock. I would also need you to tell us their dimensions.

Hi Paul,
The locking hook mechanism does not want to "come out" unless whole mechanism is tilted forward. Do you have a replacement mechanism, pictured, that I can order to replace this one? Thhis locking mechanism goes to my wood/vinyl sliding glass door.

Thanks
Bill

Thanks for the picture, Bill. I think our 82-227 is a match for this mortise lock. Check it out and let me know if you agree. Just make sure the dimensions are the same!
