Sash Crank

A quick learner from CT says:
Thanks for getting back to me, I measured the current crank arm - it is 4.5" long.
Is there another part that might be a better fit?

I'm sorry to say that we don't have a version of the 39-187 with that size arm. It may still work as-is, but if not then you will need to move the attachment bracket on the sash to make up the difference. That will require drilling new installation holes.

Just to be sure, it's not the arm that is connected to the crank housing? It is the arm that connects to the window frame?

I'm not sure that I understand your question. Based on your first post, I was under the assumption that you were measuring the link arm. That's the arm that connects to the sash. Were you measuring something else, instead?

Yes, that is the arm that I measured.
I will order one and which the arms to see if that works.
