Sash Guide and Channel Balance

A home owner from Satellite Beach Florida says:
I need new sash guides. I think the 18-166 sash guide is correct, but I don't know how to identify the correct channel balance. The balance is 29 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. It does not have a winged base to top, so I think the Series 351 is what I need. The numbers stamped on the side are 28201, so I believe I need the option 2820. Please let me know if this is correct before I order. Thank you.

Thanks for posting. This looks like either a S351-29 or S390-29. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. If your balance is stamped 2820, this would indeed correspond to our stamp option of 2820, which is for a window sash in the weight range of 12 through 16 lbs. Finally, yes, your Top Sash Guide does look like our 18-166. Just go over the dimensions to confirm.
