As for your balance, it's tough to say what will work without seeing the shoe that was originally at the bottom. Was it a "T" lock style shoe? If so, you should consider our S795-30. This functions similarly to yours and has a 1-1/4" wide "T" lock style shoe installed on the bottom of the metal channel. Let me know what you think.
