Sash balance end cap

Question

Hey! I saw a few similar things but not exactly this size. The widest part at the top is 7/8" and the smaller width is 1/2". No brand on the windows,  or part, best guess they were installed in 1985 if that helps narrow down manufacturers at all.

Thanks for reaching out! The piece you are referring to as the sash balance end cap is the top sash guide. Yours reminds me of the 18-060 1/2" Top Sash Clip. To confirm that this is the correct replacement, take a look over the dimensions below and compare them to your existing guide.
