Sash balance replacement for older Andersen window

Question

Hello, my Andersen windows were installed in approx. 1968 window and I need to replace the sash balances on 5 or 6 of them. The balance unit is nominally rectangular in shape, but does not have the 'tab' at one end (secured to frame via 2 screw holes in the body). Measurements are; 6.25" long, 2-13/16" wide and 3/4" deep (tapering to 1/2" deep on the cord side)

Windows are wood frame, double hung sash, size is nominally 49" x 32"

Only markings are 'Andersen Corp Bayport, Minn. and '7 27' (see mg_0402.jpg)

Do you carry a suitable replacement sash balance?

Have a look at our 24-737. This can replace Andersen balance boxes marked with "7 27." Since you do not have the tab, you would have to dremel space out for it. They do not make your older version anymore.
