Sash balances

Question

Plastic side panels say WINTEC.  Lower unit (slanted plastic base) is intact.  Lower has dry rotted, but seemed to have similar wings.  Upper fittings are intact and identical, with a center tab that fits in bracket at top of each channel.

I believe that the balances shown in your photos are used for wood sashes and, unfortunately, are no longer available. I'd suggest taking one of the jamb liners to a local millwork for replacement balance systems. Thanks for posting and good luck with your repair.
