Sash guide and balancers

These look like fairly old windows, but I believe we can still help you find both the top sash guides and the balance. However, I'll need more photos of each before we continue; it's very hard to identify this kind of hardware when they're installed in the window, since so many important details are obscured.

I'd like you to remove each part you want to replace and show me a clear picture of them without obstruction. For the balance, I need to see the top end, bottom end, and the metal clip at the end of the cord. For the top sash guide, I just need to see it from the front and side; think of it like a mug shot.

You may also want to take dimensions of both parts while you have them out. You will eventually need them for the sake of comparison. Depending on how old your windows are, my suggestions may not be for identical replacement parts, so you will need a size reference to determine whether our hardware will fit in your window.
