Sash pivot hardware - 1449

Your pivot bar looks a lot like our 26-129 pivot bar but it is slightly different. The 26-129 is a 'new style' so I am wondering if you have an 'old style' version of this pivot bar. I am currently looking to find a drawing or a photo of the old style.

Do you know who the manufacture of your window is? Are there any names or markings on the window or the hardware? The answer to these questions can help provide clues.

I did some research but I have not been able to find any images of what an 'old style' of the 26-129 would look like.

The 26-129 also has a 1449 stamp on it. Here is a close up photo of the stamp on the 26-129.

I just spoke with one of our older window experts here and he does recognize your pivot bar. It is the old style version of the 26-129 but unfortunately the 26-129 is not a replacement for the old style bar. He said that he has had customers confirm that they were able to modify the 26-129 bar to work but that he does not have any specific instructions on what would need to be done to get it to work. The old style that you have is definitely discontinued and is no longer available.
