Sash window channel balances

Question

I'm replacing channel balances in a sash window. The channel balances being replaced are stamped "25 2 BU CMC 2". I could not cross reference this on your charts. I believe it's the series 385, 26 inch length of metal, not sure the weight. Please advise.

I think I can help you with your question. With the stamped number "25 2" you provided, that would correspond to our 2520 stamp option. However, if you want to make extra sure that is the correct stamp option, you can always weigh your window sash and correspond that number to our sash weight range chart.
