Schuco casement window

A home owner from Michigan says:
The hardware is rusting, and the piece/bracket that connects to the window rusted apart- it was riveted to the crank mechanism. I don't know if I can get a new one.

The track is 10" long and has 40942 and 41 numbers on it.

Hope you can help.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hello, Ken. Looks like you need a new hinge. We actually don't sell your exact model, but I am confident that you can use our 36-048 as a substitute. Just note that you have to replace the top and bottom at the same time so that the window has an even operation (we would recommend doing that anyway). Look this product over and let me know if you had any questions!
