Screen Clip Help

Question

Hello. I'm thinking the 70-048 will work for me, but I noticed your comment about newer not being interchangeable with the older versions. It looks like a few other customers have my style and claim the 70-048 worked, but I want to double check since the new one has two "claws" verses one like I have now. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for posting. There was in fact a newer version of this screen clip that Malta made before they went out of business, and older versions like our 70-048 are not interchangeable with it. If the dimensions don't seem right, I suggest considering replacing this old Malta clip with a type of pull ring with sill nail clip instead. Look at our 70-004 and 70-013 to start out; this type of pull ring is "screened" into the frame. Also take a look at our 70-204 pull ring which clips onto the bottom of the screen frame. The nails are mounted into the window sill for the pull rings to clip onto.
