Screen Door Rollers 1" diameter x 1/4" wide. Can't figure out how to remove it. I've tried backing adjusting screw out, screwing adjusting screw in and unit won't budge. It doesn't appear to be the type that clips on to pins in the aperture. No apparent markings

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we can't make out the type of screen door roller you have based on your photos. We will need to see a few more showing the entire roller assembly uninstalled, as well as the screen door itself, to get started. In the meantime, take a look at the rollers related on this page, along with the replacement videos to help you through the process. Thank you.

Thank you for the response. I will take a look in more detail next time I am at the Vermont location. I have not been able to remove the roller from the screen. It does appear to be close to the Peachtree roller. Could you send an image of the underside of that part? Does it have a spring visible at the pivot when the wheel is pushed back (as shown on the photo I sent). Could you advise on how the Peachtree roller is removed from the screen?

The 84-028 roller is held in place with a small screw into the housing.

If it is the older 84-018 roller, it is riveted into the screen frame at the end of the door which will need to be drilled out. Take a look at the related videos and information on screen door rollers.
