Screen Window Plastic Pins

A handy person from Buffalo, NY says:

Hello:

The screen pin images on your site do not overall length. My old pins appear to be about 1.5 long with top cap on. See photo #1

The "stick out" length is indicated in photo #2.

The UV light has made almost all of the old pins brittle - is there a quick way of removing the old assemblies without damage to the aluminum frames? I have about 30 pins to remove/replace.

Thanks for any help with this project.

Mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for writing in. For your 3/4" wide screen frame, depending on the thickness tip of the pin tip, you can use either our 70-008 (7/32" tip) or 70-009 (5/32" tip) plunger pins. Take a look and see which one of these could work for you.
