How to get and replace bug guard on CertainTeed window screen. Is there a special tool to replace wool pile? Is 3/16ths the right size?

Thanks for posting! There really isn't a special wool pile tool. Traditionally, it slides in at the end of the channel. If your channels are sealed at the ends, you would have to work in the new replacement weatherstripping with a putty knife.
As for size, I honestly have no idea. You would need to measure your wool pile as carefully as you can and compare what you get to our selection here.
