Is there a way to attach a new screen clip without putting in a whole new piece of screen fabric ? My clips are broken but there is nothing wrong with the screen fabric .

I believe your could just pull a little of the spline away at the place were you need to install the clip, rather than taking out the entire screen. You could theoretically Use an awl or ice pick to pull the retaining spline in just the spot you need to install clip, then roll that spot back in when you're done.
