Screen corner connectors

Handy Person from The Peoples Republic of NJ
A customer asked me to re-screen all of their frames, unfortunately the nylon blocks holding them together have become brittle and are all breaking as I try to remove the screen. I cannot get one out intact to photograph (I don't want to destroy all the frames as I can still put most back in with the old screens). But I made a drawing of what I suspect it looks like - I was able to see part of one leg and it was barbed so it cannot back out (which means I cannot take it out). I suspect a leg on the other side is barbed as well, however this is your line of work, you will know better than I.

Thanks for posting! The screen corner you have appears to be an older discontinued double leg corner. I'm afraid the exact replacement for this has been discontinued and is no longer available. That being said, we have a replacement option that could potentially work for your repairs.

We believe you can use the 95-002 Capitol Window Panel Corner, to hold the frame together; it is a self-locking corner. Keep in mind, you'll also need to use 95-002 along with the 95-176 Aluminum Corner Key to keep the bottom slide latch in the bottom of the lift rail.

Carefully review each of them to see if this could work for your repairs.
