Screen door latch

When we moved in 25 years ago the screen door was missing. The builder came out and installed this. It's not the correct screen door. It slides fine. We would like to be able to latch it to keep the cat from getting out. Can you suggest something?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we don't sell this exact latch. Can you write out the distance between the two installation holes, measured from center to center? I can't promise we'll have a suitable replacement but that should help us confirm.

Hole spacing is 2 1/2". I'd like to replace with this. I'll have to either open the existing holes or drill two new ones.
