Screen door roller spring too long.

Hello, I ordered SS Spring Tension Screen Door Roller, 1" SS Wheel part# 84-107 8 each

Yesterday when I tried to replace those rollers, I found out your SS Spring is about 1/4 longer than the one inside my slide door. The M Spring is too long. Therefore I can not install it. Is there a way can I bend or do something to make it fit because the hole for the spring adjustment is too far from the the hole on the frame.

I've actually never heard of this before. Are you sure you originally had the 84-107 and not something else? Another thought would be to try to bend the spring to see if it will match up to the adjustment screw. Another option would be to maybe install the roller facing the other direction to see if that helps. Let me know what you think.
