Screen door sweep

Question

I tried to get the seal out of the frame but was unable to do so. It is stuck(22yrs). I don't think the 58-189 part will work in my situation because the center to center distance on the frame is slightly less than 3/4inch on my frame. Maybe a whole new slide on piece with the rubber seal on the bottom instead? Hope this makes sense.

attached is the bottom piece of my screen doors. I measured the rubber piece the best I could and it looks like the measurements are 3/16 X 7/16. I noticed you have a similar piece online(40-172) that may fit (1/4 x 9/16). My measurements may not be exact so am wondering if the 40-172 is the best option or maybe you have something else that would fit better.

I'm sorry to say that we don't sell a sweep whose design is closer to your original. The 40-172 is probably the closest, as you've noted, but still different enough that I can't guarantee it.

We do sell the 58-176, which is similar to the 58-189 but wraps around the bottom of the door. You'll likely need to drill new holes to install it but review its size and see if it would fit in the same capacity.
