Can you tell me what this part is? There's one in each side of the screen that you have to squeeze together to lift the screen up and down they are spring loaded and I lost the spring on one of them. Appears to be 4 inches long.

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to say that these storm window latches have been discontinued and are no longer available. Unfortunately, we have not been able to source a suitable replacement for them.
I do apologize that we cannot assist with this repair but please feel free to reach out with any other hardware repair questions you may have.
