Screen spline size

A contractor from Louisville ky says:
I would like to know how much range the .16 foam spline has when repairing screens that call for .170 and .140. I have never used foam before.

Thanks for posting! Are you talking about the 59-160 spline? If so, it compresses from .160 to .155 when you install it. After it's installed it will expand, which is why my father used it. Fun fact: SWISCO was actually the first company in the world to use this spline to repair screens!
