Screens for windows

Question

Hello,

I am looking for information on how to replace the screens in my windows. Can I keep the screen frames and swap out the screen material? Or would I have to purchase complete screen frames and screen?

Series DH10
H-R40-44x60 (I have 3 smaller windows but all are missing the sticker with this info so I am not sure which size this is off of as all are long gone on the other windows. I just saved this one years ago when I bought the house)

24x29 is the approximate screen frame measurement if that is helpful

Thanks for posting! There is a chance that you will be able to replace the parts in the window, repair the screen however, to confirm, we'll need to first identify the parts we you'd need like any pins, corners, etc. You'll also need to determine the type of mesh you'd like to use.

Ultimately, you'll need to determine if the current frame is in a condition to be reused and you'll also need to determine if it might be easier to replace the entire screen.

I would suggest starting with reviewing our Screen & Storm Panel Replacement Hardware. This may give you an idea about the parts you'd need to remove from the frame to repair the screen.

If you decide that you will move forward with the screen repair, I'll need to see a photo of the hardware you are looking to replace, removed from the screen. Should you decide to replace the entire screen, you'll need to contact the window manufacturer or a local window supplier about how to replace the screens.
