Screw size for 89-030

Thanks for your patience during this busy season. Take a look at the 33-021, #8 screw. You could use something like this to install the 89-030 keeper. However a larger #10 diameter screw might hold better, being that it is thicker. Also I believe the 1-1/4" length looks good, but you would have to determine the length you need. 1-1/4" is no guarantee. You may need it longer or shorter. If you have one of the screws from your original striker plate take one to a hardware store in your area along with the strike plate and see what they suggest.
