Question

Hello, I need to order two replacement valances for my window.  I think the spring broke or something.  The balance has fallen down and doesn't go up and down with the window. I am not repairing myself, but want to have parts ready when I schedule repairman.  Thank you!

Thanks for posting. We can help you replace this channel balance, but I'm afraid we can't tell exactly what kind of balance this is without seeing the balance out of the window, with photos of the nylon attachments at either end. The length of the metal channel, not including the nylon attachments, would also be most useful. For removal and replacement details, see the video below.
