Please send us pictures of the attachments or nylon fittings on both ends of the metal channel. As far as the take-out clip, I am afraid yours is no longer available. What we recommend doing is mounting a screw just beneath where that take-out clip used to install. You can then use that to catch the balance during removal and replacement. This isn't a perfect solution since the screw must be removed when the window is in normal use, but it's your best bet.
