Looking for a window channel balance for a certainteed 4050single hung white vinyl window
33" long, 1/2" wide channel is the inside dimension
vent weight is 28 pounds
the part# stamped on the channel is 31 5 FV CMC 2
Originally this was an "Insulate" Brand window installed in 2003

Hello there. I'm confident we can help, but I am afraid we need more information. That stamp does not tell us the balance's identity, just its spring strength. To know the identity, we need photos of the nylon fittings or attachments at either end of the metal channel. The combination of fittings your balance uses tells us what kind you have. Also, please double-check the metal channel length--do not include the end fittings in this measurement. I believe it should be 32", not 33". From there we'll do our best to narrow this down for you.
