I need to replace the balance assembly on my Pella Architect Series window. I would like a pair of 4030 or 40 30 which I'm told means 40 for the length and 30 for the amount of weight it can bear.

Thanks for reaching out. I am unfamiliar with which balance you'd need based on the window series or the balance stamp.
The balance stamps don't typically work in that way when identifying the weight range they should be able to carry. Sometimes the balance length and the stamp will be the same at other times it will not. The second part of the stamp almost never indicates the actually weight of the sash. It really depends on what kind of balance you have in the window.
To determine if we can provide the replacements you'll need, I'll need to see a photo of your balances removed from the window.
