Have purchased 82 086 handle, need video how to ....
In past replaced lock mechanism but don't understand markings and cutting of inner stem of the lever latch...
Present Lever latch no longer works the lock mechanism that holds the door locked... could not lock my door reason I ordered this from you.
Need help, please. Is there a video?

Thanks for reaching out to us, Mary. The 82-086 should have come with installation instructions. Did your set not?
You do need to trim the key cylinder's tail in order to get it to fit in your door. This tail is made extra long on the 82-086 so that it can work on a wider range of door sizes.
We don't have a video on this handle set specifically, but we do have a video that shows you how to cut down the tail. I recommend watching it to get an idea of what you need to do. You can skip to the 3:10 mark in the video below to get right to the relevant information.
