It's hard to be sure, but see our 82-240. This looks similar to the thumb latch in your picture. Let me know if you agree.

Yes, THIS is a replacement for that latch! Just installed it. Not identical, but it works. Probably a lot stronger too; it's metal, the former was some sort of composite, and I've had 2 break within months (after 18 years).

Had the original Pella thumb turn break twice. Called Pella and they said to check the bumpers on the door. If the bumpers are missing then the thumb turn hits the other panel and breaks. Mine were missing, so I installed new ones. The Swisco replacement thumb turn is less expensive. Wish I would have seen it before I got the Pella one.

I purchased this to replace the same Pella lever.
It was not a drop-in fit for me. I had to do some chamfering to both the shaft of the lever and the backside of the handle (to accommodate the new lever), but it worked out fine. I have two of these doors and figured I'd replace both while I was at it (before the other one broke). Unfortunately, I broke the first of my two replacements figuring out the above things. Doh! But no-matter. I should've checked the shaft profile of the original lever first.
I'm ordering another for the other door while the required alterations are fresh in my mind. I'll still come out way ahead as opposed to buying the $70 replacement from Pella.
