Searching for Aluminum constant force balancer and track assembly

Question

Several of the wood double hung sash do not hold in place and fall when opened or unlocked . The sash are in good condition. The tracks are aluminum and I have not located any manufacturer marks. The windows were installed around 1960. The track/ balancer system are stapled into the window frame. Is there a track balancer system that can be used as a replacement? Thanks.

Thank you for contacting us. You will need to completely replace your aluminum jamb liners with a new set. To remove the old jamb liners, first look for any staples holding the jamb liner to the window frame and remove them, then remove the interior trim so you can slide out the sashes with the old jamb liners. Then you'll need to take the jamb liners to your nearest millwork and so they can replace them with a new set.
