Searching for G9708

Question

I have a Peachtree double hung window model G9708 AE.  Need a new balance.  Do you have them?  Thank you, Scott

I'm sorry to say that I couldn't match that code to anything in our records. That's not to say that we don't have a replacement balance for you, but I will need more information to go off of before I can make a recommendation.

To start, I'd like you to remove an undamaged version of this balance from the window and show me a clear picture of the top end, bottom end, and the stamp printed on the metal channel. I'd also like to see whatever clip or attachment is at the end of the cord.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Peachtree has been out of business for many years now and replacement parts for them are very difficult to acquire. We still have a part here and there that can work, but it's by no means exhaustive. Just something to keep in mind as you move forward on this project.
